The Challenge

WGSN, the world’s leading trend forecasting company, produces high-impact foresight content to help brands anticipate cultural, societal, and consumer shifts before they go mainstream. The brief: develop strategic insight reports that go beyond surface-level trends uncovering emerging concepts and macro shifts with long-term implications for brand, marketing, and retail strategy.

Strategic Focus

As part of WGSN’s global insight network, I contribute to Emerging Concepts Reports, future-facing publications that explore early cultural signals, from systemic social change to new modes of identity, commerce, and design. My role includes:

  • Identifying weak signals across culture, technology, lifestyle, and media

  • Synthesising foresight and research into clear, commercially relevant narratives

  • Framing actionable strategies for brands to respond with purpose and originality

  • Highlighting real-world examples and case studies across global markets

  • Writing reports that balance depth, clarity, and creative thinking

These insights are designed to inform not only long-term brand direction but also immediate applications in retail planning, merchandising, storytelling, and marketing activation.
