The Challenge

Accenture sought to localise its global sustainability strategy by creating an impact-led platform designed to drive meaningful cultural change at the UKI level. The goal was not only to communicate sustainability but to embody it—mobilising clients, talent, and internal teams through values-driven activation. The challenge: how can a professional services brand act as a credible agent of cultural transformation?

Strategic Focus

I was brought in during the brand and leadership mapping phase to help identify bold, culturally resonant mechanisms for change. My role included:

  • Trend and territory analysis across ESG-tech, regenerative systems, and civic innovation

  • Brand archetype research, mapping how leading businesses, NGOs, and movements are catalysing transformation

  • Global and grassroots case study curation, spotlighting initiatives that blend ethics, innovation, and long-term impact

  • Synthesis of cultural, business, and activist references to inspire new modes of leadership and internal engagement

The insight fed into a broader creative and communications strategy designed to position Accenture as a leader in sustainability through credible, culture-connected action.

Impact

The outputs informed the development of a flagship platform designed to mobilise action inside and outside the business. By drawing on bold, unconventional role models, from agroforestry collectives and citizen assemblies to climate activism and regenerative tech, I helped surface powerful examples of leadership beyond the boardroom. The research helped Accenture define a clearer point of view on sustainability, rooted in culture, community, and systems change.
